Our second Thantopolis natural environment of this chapter is the Oak Savanna, an incredibly rare ecosystem found largely in the Midwestern United States. I discovered the oak savanna nearby my house just a few years ago. Not only is it a great place for a long walk, there's a ton of animals to see - and the oak savanna has an on-site nature center that houses reptiles, birds of prey and one very cute bobcat.
